Data Robotics has unveiled the Drobo S, a new backup storage solution that is perfect for creative professionals and small businesses. The device sports eSATA, Firewire 800 and USB 2.0 interfaces and can hold up to five hot-swappable drives with a total of 10TB of storage space. What makes the Drobo S more interesting is that it has a built-in self healing technology, which is ideal for safely storing large files and rapidly growing data. The Drobo S connects to Windows, Mac and Linux2 systems and supports NTFS, HFS Plus, EXT3, and FAT32 file formats. It will be available in the near future for $799 each. [Data Robotics]
