Samsung and LG have officially confirmed to release HSDPA phones in Korea. Samsung Electronics releases the SPH-W2100 slider while LG releases LG-KH-1000 Slider. Samsung SPH-W2100 supports terrestrial DMB services. It is equipped with a 2.0 MP camera and an MP3-player. Its specs are similar to another HSDPA-model SCH-W200, but the latter supports satellite DMB services.

The Dopod CHT9000 is claimed to be the first Chinese 3G PDA phone which comes with Bluetooth ver. 2.0 compatibility, a QWERTY keypad with Chinese characters on it, and a microSD card. Powerred by Windows Mobile 5.0, CHT 9000 has advantages such as an RSS micro reader, push e-mail and Internet Explorer which allows full browsing capability. The device boasts a 2MP camera and an autodyne mirror next to the camera for self portraits.

The Kodak V610 is the 6MP CCD camera which has a large 2.8 inch LCD display. Asuka Semiconductor Taiwan has released of the ARA K-60. It is a handheld DVB-T TV which measures 115 mm x 77 mm x 21 mm and weight about 190 grams. It provides a 3 inch low-temperature polysilicon (LTPS) TFT LCD panel display with 960 x 240 pixels maximum resolutions and a built-in telescopic antenna. The ARA K-60 is fully compliant with DVB-T standards and can therefore receive Digital TV and radio broadcasts. Its battery allows up to three hours of DTV broadcast reception.

LG’s KH-1000 is a wide-screen slider phone that features a 2.2-inch widescreen TFT-LCD display, 1.3-megapixel camera, 2GB flash memory, 1GB SDRAM, and video conferencing capabilities. Ricoh announces the new Caplio RR660 digital camera which features a 6.16MP image resolution and a spacious 2.4 inch LCD monitor.
