For $50 you can own this very versatile portable media player, but the one disadvantage is that it only supports a special format from MTV. No word on price or availability.

Phonearena has just reviewed the soon to be released “Chocolate” phone by LG for Verizon. To recap, the “Chocolate” phone measures at 15.2mm thick and features a 1.3 megapixel camera, 2 inch display, 128MB of memory, USB port, and an Mp3 player. Video after the jump.

LG Electronics and Alltel Wireless launched the LG AX390 which is equipped with Alltel’s Touch2Talk walkie-talkie service. This service lets you to upgrade walkie-talkie calls to regular wireless calls and lets you to send messages to all members of a Touch2Talk group. This mobile phone doesn’t have digital camera and Bluetooth connectivity. Measuring 1.8 Inches x 3.3 Inches x .9 Inches, this CDMA handset has a speakerphone on the handset and it also includes Voice recognition technology. In addition, the LG AX390 has phonebook which can store up to 500 contacts. The AX390 is Axcess Web capable and works on Alltel’s Axcess MobileLink network, which delivers speeds of 40 to 70 kbps with bursts up to 144 kbps. Via the AxcessSM Services provided by Alltel, you can also access some multimedia functions such as Messaging, Ringtones & Wallpaper, Games, E-mail, and Web. The LG AX390 is on sale for $59.99. This phone works well on CDMA 800 MHz, CDMA 1900 MHz and 800 MHz analog.

LG Electronics introduced the LG AX355 which has a 1.3MP digital camera and hands-free Bluetooth(R) wireless technology. The phone measures 1.85 Inch x 3.62 Inch x .89 Inch and weighs around 3.8 oz. The phone works well with CDMA 800 MHz, CDMA 1900 MHz and 800 MHz analog. The phone also supports Axcess Instant Messaging which lets you to chat anytime, anywhere through your AOL Instant Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger accounts. The phone is also Touch2Talk capable which lets you to upgrade to walkie-talkie calls to regular wireless calls and lets you to send messages to all members of a Touch2Talk group. The LG AX355 is capable of Voice dialing and comes equipped with a speakerphone. The AX355 is available from Alltel for $69.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
