Sony Japan will release the NAC-HD1 audio server that comes with a 250 GB hard drive, CD player and AM / FM tuner. Using this device, you can rip audio CD’s to the hard drive in MP3 and Atrac formats at various bit rates. You can also connect MP3 players, PSP, Mobile phones to the USB port and transfer music from the hard drive. Measuring 430mm × 290mm × 110mm and weighing 7.2kg, the Sony NAC-HD1 will be available in May for $930.

The Samsung R55 HDD laptop comes equipped with a 1.66 GHz Intel Centrino Core Duo T2300E Processor, 1GB of RAM, a 100 GB Hard Drive and a DVD Dual Layer Drive which can read DVDs and CDs and write CDs, DVD+, DVD- and large Dual Layer DVD. Other features include 15.4 inch WXGA Widescreen TFT Screen with SuperClear Technology, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 256 MB dedicated graphics, Integrated 6 -in-1 card reader, wireless 802.11 a/b/g LAN and Bluetooth. Pricing is still in mystery.
Samsung and MobileWhack via Laptops

Samsung introduced another phone at Korea IT Show. Dubbed as the Samsung SPH-W2700 Phone, this super-thin HSDPA phone is also known by the name of the “3D video phone”. The handset is a magnificent quad-band HSPDA phone with just 11.9mm thickness. The SPH-W2700 also features a 2.3 inch 262k color TFT screen and 0.9 inch external OLED screen. It provides various functions including Video On Demand, MP3 player, camera and video calling. No word on pricing yet.

Victor-JVC will release on April 25th a wallpaper service for their C51, C59, C110, C210, XA-C59, and C109 digital audio players. You are required to download an application software to allow communication of the PC and the music player.
