Midnight Club 4 For Sony PlayStation 3 And Xbox 360

Rockstar will release new Midnight Club series. According to Eurogamer, a fourth edition of this game is headed to the Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early in 2008. Dubbed as the Midnight Club: Los Angeles, the game is being developed by Rockstar’s San Diego and will “redefine the idea of a completely immersive racing game experience, both offline and online.” Stay tuned for more updates!

NEC has unveiled a new WiFi router and PCMCIA card that utilizes the draft 802.11n standard. Both devices will be able to reach speed of up to 300Mbps theoretically. So far, there is no info on the pricing or availability.

Pentax Releases Two New Binoculars

Pentax Japan has released two new binoculars, the Pentax 8×21 UCF R and the Pentax 10×21 UCF R. The Pentax 8×21 UCF R features a field of view of 1000 yards(324 ft), an Objective Lens Diameter of 21mm, and a magnification of 8x, while the Pentax 10×21 UCF R offers a magnification of 10X and an aperture of 21mm. Pricing info is still in a mystery.

Other features include 10x digital zoom, InfraRed, 100MB internal memory, and microSD card slot. The Casio Exilim W52CA also supports EZ-Television with the 1Seg technology.

KAIST Hubo-Way - A Modified Version Of Segway

KAIST unveiled Hubo-Way, a two wheel scooter, which adopts a modified technology of Segway. The Hubo-Way can change the direction by simply leaning either right or left. Weighing at 37kg, it can reach up to 20Km/h. According to the company, Hubo-Way will be priced about half of existing Segway products so that anybody can afford to purchase.

Some researchers at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine has managed to develop LifeShirt. It is new device to monitor patients with bipolar affective disorder and schizophrenia.
