The Samsung SGH-i620 smartphone has a compact slider form factor with a slide down QWERTY keyboard. This Windows Mobile 6 smartphone also features the 5-way navigation keypad to access applications quickly. It connects the Internet via Wi-Fi or HSDPA (3.5g). Other features include a 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and a Micro SD slot. Weighing at just 105grams, the Samsung i620 is expected to be available in September 2007.

Shuttle has recently launched its barebone PC called the Glamor XPC SG33G5 in the Korea market. The computer features Intel Clear Video technology for high-definition MPEG2 playback, and supports HDMI output at 720p, 1080i, and 1080p resolutions. The graphics core appears to be identical to the GMA X3000 integrated graphics in Intel G965 Express chipset. Pricing info is still unknown.

Gigabyte launched their new W251 G5 12.1-inch wide notebook PC in the Korea market. FYI, this laptop has won 2006 G-Mark Award for its sleek black design. It runs on Intel Core 2 Duo T5300 processor, and offers 12.1-inch WXGA LCD screen, 2GB RAM, and 120GB SATA hard disk. Weighing 1.85kg(included ODD and battery), the G5 also contains DVD Super Multi optical drive, Bluetooth connectivity, 1.3MP webcam and supports WLAN. The Gigabyte W251 G5 Laptop is priced at around $980.

Panasonic comes back with a new Lumix DMC-FX55K 8.1MP digital camera with 3.6x Optical Zoom and Intelligent Auto Technology. The shooter employs a 28mm Wide-Angle LEICA Lens, and a 3.0 inch Diagonal LCD screen which helps users in viewing the thumbnails. Designed in a compact slim style in Black color, this digicam also adopts Panasonic’s MEGA O.I.S., which allows user to capture crisp pictures each time with no loss of image elements or clarity. It also has the Face Detection feature that can detect up to 15 faces. No word on pricing or availability so far.

Grantwood Technology today announced the release of the Shoe Pouch for Nike+iPod Sport Kit. Available in black, red, hot pink, neon green, teal blue, navy blue, purple, and gray, the Shoe Pouch is a waterproof bag made of neoprene that you place the sensor inside and attach to your shoe via its shoe laces.
