LG R200 2.1 Inch Notebook PC With Santa Rosa Platform

LG Electronics introduced its 12.1-inch laptop PC, the R200, which is powered by the latest Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology based on Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (Santa Rosa Platform). The notebook comes with a black and white color with dual high-gloss finish. The R200 also adopts 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 7300 CPU, Intel 965 chipset, 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN and 1GB turbo memory. No word on pricing so far.

Samsung And BMW Unveil SCH-B750 And 5 Series In Korea

Samsung and BMW have collaborated to endorse the SCH-B750 for Samsung and the 5 series for BMW in Korea. Let’s take a look at the model poses with Samsung SCHB750 mobile phone in front of a BMW sedan at a showroom in Seoul. The hands-free kit will be embedded in BMW 528i Sports, 530i, 550i, M5 series cars sold in Korea.

Panasonic HDC-SX5 Camcorder

The new Panasonic HDC-SX5 camcorder is bigger than the tiny HDC-SD5, but it has the same optical image stabilizer, Leica Dicomar lenses and 30 fps Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 in SD and SDHC cards recording. In addition, the camcorder can capture to double-layer DVD-R discs. The Panasonic HDC-SX5 comes out this September for $899.95.

Panasonic HDC-SD5 3CCD Full HD Camcorder

Panasonic claims its new HDC-SD5 camcorder as the world’s smallest 3CCD Full HD camcorder. It offers 1,920 x 1,080 30fps recording on SD or SDHC cards, revamped image stabilization system and Leica Dicomar lenses. The HDC-SD5 camcorder will be released this September for $999.95.

Tatung WebPad TX-3000 10.4 Inch Portable PC

Tatung from Thailand showcased its 10.4-inch portable PC called the WebPad TX-3000 during Taitronics Bangkok 2007. The gadget adopts the company’s touchscreen technology and sports 802.11bg WLAN, AMD Geode platform, and 1GB CF card. No info on pricing yet.

Samsung i85 PMP Camera

Here is another 8MP shooter from Samsung. The new i85 digital camera also comes equipped with the portable media player. It has a 3-inch LCD screen and supports WAV and MP3 audio and MPEG, AVI, MOV, WMV and ASF video files only after conversion via bundled software. Other feature include 5x optical NV zoom lens, Samsung ASR image stabilization, ISO 1600 sensitivity, 256MB of onboard memory with SDHC expansion, and a maximum shutter speed of 1/2,000 sec. The new Samsung i85 is available this Fall for $349.

Samsung NV8, NV15, And NV20 Smart Touch Digicams

Samsung adds three new digicams to their NV line-up of digital cameras, including the 8MP NV8, 10MP NV15, and 12MP NV12. All the new NV shooters feature Samsung’s “Smart Touch” softkeys surrounding a 2.5-inch LCD, Schneider optics with a 3x optical zoom, ISO 3200 max sensitivity with ASR image stabilization, face detection technology, SDHC expansion, and can capture VGA video at 30fps. The NV20 and NV15 will be available in the US this Fall for $399 and $299, respectively.

Transcend 8GB 40-pin IDE Flash Module

Transcend has released its 8GB 40-pin Vertical High Speed IFM (IDE Flash Module), which is the highest capacity in its class. With built-in ECC(Error Correction Code) functionality and lower power consumption, it is compatible with devices and OS that supports the IDE standard. Measuring 61.0mm x 26.9mm x 7.1mm, the memory modules are available in capacities from 32MB to 8GB. Pricing info is still unknown.

iRiver PN100 GPS Navigation Gadget

iRiver PN100 is a Windows CE based navigation device for Japan. The device has a 3.5 inch (320 x 240) touchscreen, 3.5 mm slot, SD card slot and offers 3 hour of battery life. It also supports playback of MOV/ AVI/ MP4/ 3GPP/ ASF(SD-Video) and MP3/ WMA/ WAV file formats. The iRiver PN100 will go on sale in Japan by August 3 for $ 335.
