New EasyShare Cameras From Kodak

Here are the new Kodak EasyShare shooters. The Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS is an 8.2MP digicam with 12x Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon zoom lens which doubles-up as a 720p / 30fps video recorder. This camera also features a 0.23-second click-to-capture capability, optical image stabilization to help manage the shake and noise from that biggie zoom and ISO 3200 sensitivity. The Kodak EasyShare V1253 and V1233 are both 12MP shooters that offer the same 720p video recording as the super zoom. The Kodak EasyShare V1253 comes jam packed with a 3.1-inch LCD, while the Kodak EasyShare V1233 has a 2.5-inche LCD. However, both cameras lack any kind of optical image stabilization.

Sony VAIO LT HD PC/TV Mini Entertainment Center

The Sony LT HD PC/TV is a mini home theater with an on board Blu-ray drive and a CableCard slot. Its Blu-ray drive is able to record 50GB of HD movie on a single disk, and plays HD movies on its 22-inch widescreen display. If you don’t want to spend $2900 on all that fancy HD stuff, there is an LT standard model that costs $1900, and doesn’t have that Blu-ray drive on board.

LG has released a designer clamshell phone in Korea adorned with crystal and flower patterns. The Cyon Cristal Edition is designed by Robert Ryan, a chief designer of “Pau Smith”. The cell phone provides a 2.2 inch display, external color display and hot keys for on the top flip. The LG Cyon Cristal Edition phone will be available in Korea only for $425, which is pretty cheap for a designer phone.

Two New Nokia Bluetooth Headsets With OLED Displays

Nokia announced two new accessories this morning. The 23-gram BH-903 features an OLED display and support for A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, HFP and HSP Bluetooth profiles. It offers 15 hours of talk/music when it hits globally in Q4 for $274. Meanwhile, the 8-hour BH-902 comes equipped with the same OLED display without the dongle and stereo remote capabilities. Weighing 18.2-grams, the BH-902 will be available in Q4 with an estimated price tag of $157 (pre-tax).

VIA has produced a new fanless Eden ULV processor that is clocked at 500MHz and only requires 1 watt of electricity to run. The low power requirements found in this new processor will target firms that design and engineer embedded systems which require low power consumption, while those looking for an eco-friendly design will definitely welcome this development. In the near future, VIA also plans to produce 1GHz and 1.5GHz versions that consume 3.5 and 7.5 watts respectively.

SteelSeries, who specialize in pro gaming gear, have announced the Ikari Professional Gaming mouse. The mouse is available in two versions, the Ikari Optical for FPS gamers, and the Ikari Laser for RTS gamers. These mouse operate at 500 Hz – compared to some of the competitors whose mice run at 1000 Hz. The Ikari Professional Gaming mouse will probably cost somewhere around $60 – $70.
