iRiver will release their first DAP under the Siren brand, which they procured earlier this year. Dubbed as the DP250, the player will have a paltry 400mW speaker built in, and an FM transmitter to allow you tunes to travel through slightly better speakers. The DP250 implements three methods of recording: voice, FM radio, and line-in. The gadget will go on sale September 7 in white and black colors with 1GB for ($85) and 2GB ($120).

Taiwan-based Newtrend Electronics has released a portable media player that receives DVB-T and has electronic program guide (EPG) and teletext functionality. This mystery gadget features 7-inch LCD display (480×234 pixel) and contrast ratio of 300: 1, built-in 2W stereo speakers, and CF, SD, MMC, MS, xD, and SMC card slots. As usual, there is no word on pricing or availability so far.

Samsung has released its latest projector which is targeted towards the creative industry and the home theater enthusiasts. The Samsung SP-A800B 1080p DLP Projector provides ultimate picture quality with Full HD 1920 X 1080p resolution, and offers 1000 ANSI Im brightness from the 300W bulb. What’s more, the firm also supplies two HDMI ports, an analog PC connection, two component, one S-Video, standard video and a RS-232C. No word on pricing or availability so far.

The new version of Mio C520 is being displayed at IFA 2007 in Berlin. Dubbed as Mio C520tb, this navigation gadget boasts a 4.3 inch wide screen display and split-screen view for more map detail and relevant journey information. The device also features integrated Traffic Message Channel (TMC) reports, Tele Atlas maps (2007.1), MioMap v3 software, speed camera alerts and 20 channel SiRFstarIII GPS receiver. However speed camera availability is variable from country to country depending on the local law. The Mio C520 also comes with a new ‘click-in’ docking cradle with a more powerful speaker for clearer driving instructions.

Philips BDP7100 Blu-ray player has been unveiled at the ongoing IFA 2007 in Berlin. The player offers 1080P picture resolution and audio support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD High Resolution Audio. Moreover, the BDP7100 also features 24fps cinematic resolution input via HDMI and HDMI CEC that allows the control of other devices with one remote. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing yet.
