USB Flash Card MP3 Player

Brando has a new 2GB USB Flash Card MP3 Player that also doubles up as an MP3 player as well. Since it comes in the shape of a credit card, the player makes perfect sense that you can carry this around in your wallet, purse, or pocket with ease. This 2GB gadget retails for $42 and comes equipped with an integrated rechargeable battery. There is no info on how long the battery lasts before it runs out of juice though, however the absence of a LCD display suggests that it will run a bit longer.

Myvu Corporation has introduced its Myvu solo plus, the latest addition to its line of personal media viewers. The Myvu solo plus features an Apple authorization chip that allows this gadget to be used with the iPod touch, iPod classic, iPod nano (with video), and with fifth-generation iPods. Other features include a pendant for power and picture control, built-in noise canceling in-ear earbuds, a low-profile design so users can see their surroundings, and a lightweight rechargeable battery that provides up to four hours of play time on a single charge. The Myvu solo plus will be available in early October and will retail for around $200.

The case is also offers embossed edges around the screen to prevent scratching, included Tunefilm clear protective film for added screen protection, and complete access to the iPhone’s ports and controls. Tunewear Icewear for iPhone will be available in October and will retail for $ 29.95.

The Vaja i-Volution Crystal 2 leather case for iPhone is priced at $220.

Sony Vaio L Series - The Wall Mountable PC

The wall mountable Sony Vaio L series come with the following display options; 15.4 inch (1280 x 800), 19 inch and 22 inch (1680 x 1050) displays. The 22 inch and 19 inch models offer the same wall mounting kits of Bravia LCD TV’s. The line offers processors ranging from the Intel Celeron M530 to the new 2.2 Ghz Core 2 Duo T7500 processor. The high end version provides 1GB RAM, Digital / Analog TV tuner cards, 500GB hard drive, DVD Super drive, Felica, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 x 5, 1.3MP webcam, and Firewire. The Sony Vaio L series will be released in Japan from October 3rd for around $1900.

Panasonic’s BM-ET20 retina scanner scans your eye in just 0.3 seconds, yes just 300 milliseconds. Known as the BM-ET20, it is showcased at the Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS) in Las Vegas. Supporting up to 25-user license, the device has two embedded cameras which can be adjusted for users 152cm to 180cm tall. Unfotunately, there is no word on pricing or availability so far.

Infinity And JBL Wireless Subwoofer

The new subwoofers from Infinity and JBL are both offer a wireless connectivity. The Infinity PS212W is a 12 inch subwoofer with a 400-watt amplifier that features a built in wireless transceiver. An included 2.4GHz transmitter connects to the preamp or receiver and sends signals to the sub, with four selectable channels for interference-free operation. JBL’s Cinema Sound CSS10W offers the same feature in a smaller 10 inch subwoofer with a 300-watt amplifier. The Infinity PS212W retails for $679, while the JBL Cinema Sound CSS10W will be available January 2008 for $559.
