Toshiba Vardia RD-A301 HD DVD Recorder With HDD

Toshiba Japan has unveiled the new Vardia RD-A301 HD DVD recorder that records on HD-DVD and provides an internal 300GB hard drive for recording HD content. The device is also able to record your HD content on DVD discs. Other features include dual TV tuner analog / digital, an Ethernet port, HDMI out and S-Video. The Toshiba Vardia RD-A301 will be available by mid December in Japan for $870. A Transformers toy is also included in the package as a complimentary gift.

The printer adopts Epson’s revolutionary UltraChrome K3 Ink with industry leading 8-color pigment technology professional-quality color and black-and-white prints. It also utilities MicroPiezo AMC Print Head technology to produce sharp images at the maximum resolution of 2880 x 1440dpi with variable sized droplets as small as 3.5 picoliters. Marketwatch has reported that Telstra Corp (Australian telecommunications) will launch the Apple iPhone in Australia in 2008. The company spokesman also confirmed that the company is currently testing the phone. Stay tuned for more updates.

LG has recently released its Shining Stone UP3 S2 MP3 player that is made of high quality material and a metal body. Available in five colors including black diamond, crystal silver, ruby red, pink topaz, and sapphire blue, the gadget features in-ear earphones, an integrated FM radio, voice recording capability, USB connectivity, and a 65k color OLED display. The gadget also sports MP3, WMA, OGG, and ASF file formats. The 1GB model retails for $77, while the 2GB model for $94. The pricing for the 4GB model is still unknown. But, I’m sure it will be expensive.

Here is good news for Japanese. Sony has decided to release in the Japanese market the new ceramic white Playstation 3 in November 11, 2007. The console is priced at $ 350 for the 40GB version. It seems that Sony has upgraded the unit a bit on the cooling unit because it runs more quietly and efficiently. Check more pics after the jump.

Xerox Corporation today introduced their new color laser printer, called the Phaser 6130. The printer is able to print color documents at 12 pages per minute and prints brilliantly with Black & White ink at a fast rate of 16 pages per minute. The Phaser 6130 adopts Xerox’s environmentally friendly Emulsion Aggregation High Gloss Toner to produce textures with crisp text and uniform color. The printer is powered by a 333MHz processor, 1GB memory, a 250-sheet paper tray for maximizing uptime and increasing productivity. It prints at 600×600x4 dpi resolution with 16 shades of color per pixel and includes true Adobe PostScript3, Pantone-approved color, continuous tone and Xerox Color Correction tables deliver professional-looking color for presentations. The Phaser 6130 is now available for $499 after a $50 instant-rebate. This offer expires at the end of December.
