That’s right! Mitsubishi has finally and officially released the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, which is available in RS or GSR models. The car is powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC MIVEC turbocharged engine which provides 295hp and 300 lb-ft torque. The car is priced at $30,473 for the GSR 5MT, $32,697 for the GSR with the Twin-Clutch SST 6-speed and $26,134 for the RS.
Sony unveiled its SonyDrive XEL-1 11 inch OLED TV that provides 960 x 540 pixel resolution and comes jam packed with a terrestrial digital tuner, 2x 1 watt speaker, plus HDMI, USB, and Ethernet jacks. Measuring 287mm x 140mm x 253mm and 3.3pounds, this OLED TV is priced at $1740. More pictures after the jump.
Hitachi Ltd. has developed a 47-inch LCD screen with a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1. The monitors adopt Hitachi’s hybrid monitor technology, combining an LCD panel and an LCD projector. It uses a projector as a backlight system. The 8,000,000:1 contrast was achieved because of the multiplication of the LCD panel’s and projector’s contrast ratios.
Alpine comes back with a new GPS navigation system which is called the PMD-B200 Blackbird II. This new gadget has a 4 inch LCD display with 480 x 272 pixels resolution, touch screen controls, and several maps that cover the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands and Canada. What makes it cool is that the PMD-B200 boasts a 10GB hard disk drive. In addition, the PMD-B200 also doubles as a media player. The device plays MP3 and WMA file formats and sports an SD card for up to 4GB. The Alpine PMD-B200 Blackbird II is priced at $700.
