Samsung is ready to release its new 24-inch wide monitor in Japan. The SyncMaster 245T features 1,920 x 1,200(WUXGA) resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 6ms response time. The LCD screen is expected to be available in early December. Pricing info is still unavailable.

Jabra has recently released a new Bluetooth headset. The premium Jabra JX 10 cara Bluetooth headset was made with a frame of 24k gold. With only 28,000 units worldwide, it features a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) to clear up background noise while still offering clear sound. Its battery provides up to 6 hours to talk and 200 hours of stand-by time. Designed by Jacob Jensen, the headset also sports Bluetooth 2.0, plus voice-activated dialing and redial support. FYI, the JX 10 is also available in a stainless steel model if you don’t like the gold model.

Research firm Informa reported that worldwide mobile telephone subscriptions reached 3.3 billion, it is equivalent to half the global population. According to the International Programs Center of the U.S. Census Bureau, the total population of the world reached 6,634,294,193. It’s taken only 26 years for cell phones to conquer half of the globe.

Evergreen Japan’s EG-CVR1000 is a credit card sized MP3 player and voice recorder that provides 1GB of onboard memory. The gadget connects to the host via USB cord which is neatly packed into the unit itself. However, the player does not have an LCD display. Its Lithium Ion battery has juice for 5 hours of playback. Measuring 86mm × 55mm × 6mm and weighing 36grams, the Evergreen EG-CVR1000 is available in Japan only for $90.

Samsung today unveiled its F1 series 1 terabyte hard disk drive with the “world’s highest recording density” using only three disks. The new Serial ATA 3.5 inch F1 Series drives are designed for enterprise environments, personal video recorders, desktop PCs and other external storage applications. Priced at $400, the hard drive also features 334GB per-platter capacity, 7200RPM speed, 32MB cache, and an MTBF of up to 1.2 million hours.

Asus introduced one of its rare desktop systems. Called the Nova P22, this super small computers is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. What makes this small PC cool is that it has a USB Media Center TV tuner. The Nova will sell for the equivalent of $1,019 in the company’s home of Taiwan and is likely to bring the system to other countries in the future.
