Kaon Media UPOP Portable Media Player (PMP)

KaonMedia has launched a 4.8-inch PMP UPOP in Korea. It features a slide-and-tilt LCD touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolution, 61-key pad, electronic dictionary support with a variety of 46 different kinds of dictionary including English and Korean, TTS(Text To Speech) function, DaVinci chipset for video play back, supporting T-DMB with time-shift function and up to 5 hours of video playing. Along with the usual features like mp3 playback, image/text viewer, calculator, calendar, Widget interface and Office Viewer. No word on pricing or whether this awesome PMP will make it to the U.S or not. [AVING]

Mouse Computer has released three new colored 12.1, Penryn M-Books in Japan. They come with a Core 2 Duo T8100 CPU, with 2GB of RAM, 80GB of SATA HDD, Wifi ABGN, X3100 Video Chipset, DVD DL Multi, HDMI output, and a 1.3Mpix web camera. Marbella 8800 PND Considered Cheap

Looks like multi-functional portable navigation devices are starting to drop in price and the Marbella 8800 is one of them. It comes filled with PMP functions, AV-in, and a 2 megapixel digital camera, along with a SiRF Star III GPS chip for a cheap price of $160. It is still unknown whether it will be brought to the U.S or when it will be dropped period, but it shouldn’t be long considering the specs and price have been revealed. [Navigadget]

Sony W300 Camera Drops this May

Sony W300 Digital Camera

Sony introduces the new W300 and has revealed the specs as well as price. The W300 features 13.6 megapixels, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 3x zoom, optical image stabilization, scratch-resistant titanium covering, a 2.7″ LCD display and viewfinder, and high speed burst mode as well as extra high sensitivity. Panasonic released a plasma TV at CES 07 aka the “10 Series” that comes with better wall mount configuration, improved video processing technology, anti-Reflective coating, enhanced wireless presentation capabilities, more versatile media card readability, and a dual HDMI board came as a standard feature. LiteOn DX-20A4PU External USB 2.0 Hard Drive

Dubbing and duplicating has just gotten extremely easy with the new DX-20A4PU that comes with dub and files buttons. Opening the drive automatically starts the burning software. All you have to do is press the dub button, insert a blank CD/DVD and you’re all set. The burner does DVD±R in 20x, DVD-RAM in 12x, and DVD±DL in 8x. No idea on pricing, all I can say is this is a DVD burner that can make anyone look smart. [Akihabara]

Minigigi U-Player MP3 Player With Two-color OLED

Korean Minigigi has released its new USB MP3 player in the Korean market. Dubbed as the “U-Player”, the gadget is equipped with two-color OLED and supports Microsoft’s Play-X for 3D sound and seven band equalizers.
