
Imation has rolled out a new Nano Flash USB flash drives. Available in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities, these tiny flash drives measure 1.7 inch x 0.6 inch x 0.4 inch and has a 360-degree swivel cap that prevents the connector from being damaged when the flash drive is not in use. The gadget is compatible with Linux, Mac and Windows-based platforms (from 98 till Vista). Other features include password protection support, drive partitioning and ReadyBoost (Vista only). Sony Ericsson has joined with Ducati to create the Sony Ericsson Ducati Z770 clamshell phone. This handset will be available in Italy in June 2008 via TIM. Hitachi has updated its new CinemaStar line of hard drives by releasing the C5K320 (2.5 inch hard drive) and the 5K500 (3.5 inch hard drive). The C5K320 is able to store up to 320GB of data while the larger 5K500 can store 500GB. Both hard drives feature 8MB data buffer. These hard drive were designed to extend the recording capacity of DVRs in home theater setups. No word on pricing so far. [Electronista]
