Avocent MPX1500T Wireless HD Transmitter

Avocent have recently launched the Avocent MPX1500T. It is a new device which allows you wirelessly distribute HD content. Priced at around $995, the device has a universal media port based upon a digital video interface (DVI) connector. Supporting both digital and analog video signals allows the MPX to use DVI, HDMI, or VGA signals. The MPX1500T can also perform a VGA to DVI conversion if your source is a computer and your display needs to be digital. Dell has decided to release a mini desktop system, the Studio Hybrid. Sadly, we don’t know yet about the processor. The gadget is powered by Intel chipset, 320GB HDD, up to 4GB RAM, DVD burner, WiFi, five USB ports, an HDMI port, S/PDIF, DVI, and a memory card reader.
