Displaying above is one of twelve BMW concepts of 2015 designed by students of transportation design at Turin-based IED (Instituto Europeo di Design) in collaboration with BMW. The physical designs revolve around functionalities that may arise in 2015. The BMW already have plans for these 12 concepts. Here is the futuristic looking Bluetooth speaker that sports Bluetooth 2.0+EDR compatibility. This wireless speaker supports A2DP/AVRCP/HFP/HSP profiles and has a standard stereo mini plug. The speaker provides a maximum output of 2Watts × 2 channels with a frequency zone of 20Hz – 20kHz. It draws power from an onboard Lithium battery, an AC adapter or USB port. It allows you to operate both mouse and keyboard from the same device within a radius of up to 10 meters from your PC. Audio-Technica will release the new ATH-EQ300M and ATH-EQ300LV headphones on August 22nd, 2008. Measuring at only 8.5mm thin, these headset boasts a sound pressure sensitivity of 102dB/MW, a frequency response of 16Hz-24,000Hz, and an impedance of 20Ω. These high quality headphones are able to accept a maximum input power of 500mW. Esquire magazine will be the first media that uses electronic paper as its cover. This so called E-Ink paper is made from millions of microscopic tubes, each one with a diameter less than that of single strand of hair. Each tube also contains white particle with positive charge and black with negative, hence this is how the technology manipulate composition of blacks and whites on the surface of the paper. The electronic cover will be used in only 100.000 copies that go to newsstands. Esquire overall circulation is about 720.000. Similar breakthrough was made in 1984 when National Geographic introduced Holography to the mass market by placing hologram of an eagle on its cover.
