Philips has released its new Flavors line of LCD TVs with the interchangeable frames that are available in 22 inch, 32 inch and 42 inch. The 42 inch variant offers Full HD resolution (1080p), 30,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 500cd/m2 brightness and two HDMI ports. The 22 inch, 32 inch and 42 inch models are priced at €549, €799 and €1,199, respectively. Each purchase of these new Flavors line of LCD TVs also comes with two interchangeable frames. SimpleTech today introduced the Pro Drive and Duo Pro Drive external storage media that provide eSATA, FireWire 800, FireWire 400 and USB 2.0 connectivity. The Cinemizer is powered by the cell phone it is connected to, while the built-in rechargeable battery is able to play movies continuously for up to 4 hours. Pioneer has rolled out not one but four new GPS navigation gadgets this week. Known as the HRZ099, HRZ088, HRV022, and HRV011, these gadgets share the same specifications including 40GB storage capacity, 1Seg TV, 7-Inch LCD Screen and can play WMA, MP3, AAC, and DivX file formats. These navigation systems are also compatible with the iPods. The Pioneer HRZ099 is the High-End model that comes equipped with a resolution of 800 x 480. Known as the S2309W, the monitor features 16:9 aspect ratio, 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a quick 5ms response time, and 300cd/m2 brightness.
