Musical Teacup Concept

Designer Jongmin Kim has creatively created the Drip with Song concept, which is actually a CD player with built-in speakers. When the cup is docked, you can control the volume simply by turning the saucer in a particular direction via the use of touch controls. I like this concept! [Yanko] Read more

SanDisk Cruzer Enterprise USB Flash Drive

SanDisk’s Cruzer Enterprise USB flash drive comes pre-loaded with McAfee heuristics and antivirus engine that will automatically load and commence data scanning when you transfer files. I am sure this antivirus engine will slow down the transfer rate, especially if you have large amount of data to transfer. All files stored on the drive are encrypted with hardware-based 256-bit AES. Users are also required to choose a complex password during setup. No word on pricing at this time. [Sandisk]

Pantech Releases New Mobile Phone Concepts

South Korea-based Pantech has introduced four new concept phones that are called the “Coralliform Water”, the “Easter Moai”, the “Recy_Q” and the “Softly Lofty”. The “Coralliform Water” was inspired by the sea and its life. It is a slider that looks like a budding flower, when closed. The phone has a touchscreen display and a camera. The “Easter Moai” has a “wave” touchscreen LCD, a touch key, a dome key and lots of other keys on its sides. The “Recy_Q” comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and touch keys. This handset uses recyclable material for the case and keypad. The last concept is the Softy Lofty, which is designed “to offer as much visual and emotional comfort as possible”. It seems that this concept phone doesn’t have display screen. [UnWiredView via Upcoming Cell Phones] Read more
