Western Digital TV HD Media Player

It’s not everyday Western Digital strays from its platter oriented mission, so we’re excited to bring you their latest product, the WD TV HD Media Player.  What it does, really, is turn your USB hard drive into an HD media player so you can watch your downloaded HD movies on your HDTV.  Just plug your drive into the USB port and watch the videos in full 1080p glory via the HDMI or composite ports.  The 1.6×4.9×3.9-inch form factor makes it easy to lug around and $129 is definitely a tag worth all these awesomeness.  [Engadget]
