LG Electronics is ready to launch another sexy new LED backlit monitor ‘W2286L’ that utilizes an eco-friendly feature. This new 22-inch monitor is an energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by almost 40% compared to other 22-inch models. It features a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels, a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a DVI port and two HDMI outputs. The W2286L is expected to cost around or just over 300 Euro. [TCMagazine]
Here is I-O Data’s latest 3TB external USB 2.0 HDD that looks like NAS with a dedicated passive cooling system (fanless). Known as the HDC2-U series, the hard drive contains two HDDs on the inside. The HDC2-U will be available in Japan in the middle of July for around 50,900 Yen ($527). [Akihabara]
Alienware’s latest LCD monitor ‘OptX AW2210′ is claimed to be “ideal for the latest-generation games and high-definition movies”. This 21.5-inch LCD monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features a 2ms response time, a 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 300 cd/m2 brightness. Denon has recently introduced a new set of noise canceling earphones for the mass market in the form of the AH-NC600. These earphones are able to suppress up to 99% of surrounding noise. The AH-NC600 also comes in a neat package with various accessories to be used including specific dual sockets for use on airplanes.
