
Iiyama has come out with another eco-friendly LCD monitor namely the ProLite E1906S-B. This new 19-inch LCD monitor is an energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by almost 35.9% compared to regular panels. As for the specs itself, the monitor supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, 5ms response time, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, two 1W speakers and D-Sub as well as DVI connectivities. Casio today launched another member from their Z-Series digicam. Known as the Exilim EX-Z33, this 10 Megapixel entry-level digital camera features a 3x optical zoom lens with a 2.5-inch LCD display. The camera also supports a number of other functions as found on most compact digital cameras today including Face Detection and Anti Shake Mode. It seems that HP wants to compete with Logitech by releasing a new range of Wireless Comfort Mobile Mouse with cool designs. First up is the HP Wireless Comfort Mobile Mouse in Red that sports a flowery design and a sculpted fit for maximum comfort, a four-way tilt scroll wheel, and two programmable buttons. The HP Wireless Comfort Mouse HDX sports a similar feature set but has a blue design with whispy blue and white lines. Japanese laptop manufacturer DosPara has rolled out the Prime Note Galleria GS notebook PC that boasts a 15.4-inch with a 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution, a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU, an nVidia GeForce 966M GS with 512MB of VRAM, a 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM, and a 500 GB of SATA HDD. Asus has launched its uBoom and uBoom Q soundbar speakers that are designed to provide high fidelity audio and heart-thumping bass via a maze-like reflex port, which is then channeled through speakers designed to place the user in the audio sweet-spot. Both the ASUS uBoom and uBoom Q sound-bar speakers feature USB 2.0 connectivity for audio output. Japanese manufacturer JVC has recently released two high quality headphones namely the HP-S560 (10Hz to 25kHz) and the HP-S360 (10Hz to 24kHz). Both headphones adopt a newly developed “Dual Protection Structure” on its driver unit in order to suppress any unnecessary resonances. Famous battery maker Duracell has rolled out a charging system called myGrid that will charge cell phones and other devices placed on its surface. The device is compatible with Apple’s iPods, the iPod touch and the iPhone, as well as a number of handsets from Nokia, Motorola and RIM’s BlackBerry handsets.
