Cowon UM1 USB Flash Drive

South Korean Manufacturer, Cowon has recently introduced a new series of USB flash drives, the UM1. Coming in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, these drives feature a decorated metal enclosure with an inscription ‘Don’t Forget Me’ and measure only 31mm x 12mm x 3mm. What’s more, these drives are also water and dust proof, and come in two color options: dark silver and gold. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet. Read more

Sharp Aquos LX1 LED TV

Sharp Japan has announced their LX series of LED TV that is currently available in 40, 42, 52 and 60-inch models. The LED panel provides a full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, a contrast ratio of 200,0000:1, a 176 degree viewing angle and a white LED backlit which consumes 30% less power. Additional features include a six speaker sound system which delivers 2.1 channel sound, Analog / Digital TV tuner, Ethernet port and three HDMI ports. This keyboard is similar to the Archbishop model, but features side lit stained-glass-styled inserts and keys featuring Alchemical symbols. The Datamancer Alchemist keyboard was originally designed for a pharmacist and is themed around Apothecarial and Alchemical icons including the Bowl of Hygeia, the Caduceus, and the Eye of Ra (from which the modern “Rx” symbol used by pharmacists is derived). Buffalo has just announced its new SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external HDD, the DriveStation HD-HXU3. Coming in a slick, black glossy design, the drive is available in either 1.0TB, 1.5TB or 2.0TB capacity and provides transfer speeds of up to 125MB/s. The drive is also backwards-compatible and will work seamlessly with USB 2.0-enabled computers, notebooks and netbooks.
