The 2011 Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in series-hybrid electric vehicle by General Motors, which will be released in 2010. The car is designed to run purely on electricity from on-board batteries. For your info, the 2011 Chevrolet Volt concept car was officially introduced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) on January 7, 2007 in Detroit, Michigan.
