
Sharp has joined with the I3 (I-cubed) research center in Kawasaki to develop a new 60-inch LCD TV that produces a superb 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution. The company will introduce the prototype of this 4K LCD TV at CEATEC 2011 Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan. Sharp has also announced that the 60-inch 4K LCD TV will be released in Japan next year. Samsung today introduced the successor to the original Galaxy Tab. Dubbed as the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, the new tablet runs on the Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS with TouchWiz and features a 7-inch WSVGA (1024 x 600) PLS display, a fast 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 1GB of RAM, a microSD slot(up to 32GB), a 3-megapixel rear-facing Auto Focus camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 4,000mAh battery. Lenovo today introduced the ThinkCentre M77 desktop series that is available in both tower and small form factor(SFF) variants. This business-oriented PC can be equipped with an AMD Sempron, Athlon II, Phenom II or FX Series processor. The ThinkCentre M77 supports up to 1TB hard disk drive, up to 16GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon discrete graphics, a DVD writer, a 25-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, a 5.1 channel audio, and a total of eight USB 2.0 ports. What’s more, the desktop also offers several security features such as USB Port Disable, DASH 1.1, TPM encryption chip, and Hardware Password Manager. Verbatim has released a new line of USB 3.0 desktop hard drives ‘Store ‘n’ Save’ for the European market. Coming in 1TB, 2TB and 2TB capacities, these desktop hard drives are equipped with a USB 3.0 connection interface and come bundled with the Nero BackItUp and Burn Essentials software, and the Green Button energy saving application. ELSA is gearing up to drop their newest graphics card ‘GLADIAC GTX 560 Ti mini’ for the Japanese market. Based on 40nm GF114 GPU, the card integrates 384 CUDA Cores, a 256-bit memory interface, a GPU clock of 822MHz, a shader clock of 1645MHz and a 1GB of GDDR5 memory set @ 4008MHz. Dubbed as the Smart Tab 7 and Smart Tab 10, these gadgets provide a fast 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor with the Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, up to 32GB of storage space, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
