Dell will release a new Windows 8 tablet in the near future. Dubbed as the Dell Latitude 10, the gadget features a 10.8-inch touchscreen display with a 1366×768 pixels resolution, an Intel Atom dual core processor, an Intel graphics, a fingerprint reader, a 2GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. Its battery offers up to 8-hour of operating time. Other specs include an 8-megapixel rear-facing digital camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a micro USB port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a card reader. [Neowin]
NEC Japan has rolled out the NEC Mate ME desktop PC. The computer is powered by a 3.4GHz Intel Core i7-3770 vPro “Ivy Bridge” processor, a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 19-inch WXGA+ display, an Intel HD Graphics 4000, a 250GB hard disk drive and a DVD burner. LG is set to unleash another Full HD monitor into the market called the IPS234V-PN. Featuring an IPS panel, this new 23-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles, and features DVI-D, mini D-Sub and HDMI connectors. Available in two different storage capacities: 120GB and 240GB, these 2.5-inch SSDs are packed with a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, a SandForce SF-2281 controller, SMART / TRIM support, a MTBF of 2 million hours and can deliver read and write speeds of up to 550MB/s and 510MB/s, respectively.
