Acer has unveiled a new budget-friendly quad-core Android 5.0 tablet, the B1-760HD. As part of the Iconia One 7 series, this entry-level tablet is equipped with a 7.0-inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS LED-backlight display, a 1.30GHz MediaTek MT8127 quad-core processor, a 1GB RAM and a 16GB of internal storage.
Measuring 9.9mm thick and weighing 285 grams, this thin and lightweight tablet has a 0.3MP front-facing camera, a 2MP rear-facing camera, a microSD card slot (up to 128GB) and a 3420 Li-Polymer battery (up to 9 hours of battery life). Running on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS (w/ Acer’s own application suite ‘Iconia Suite’ pre-installed), the B1-760HD provides WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity.
The Acer B1-760HD will go on sale from September 18th for around 17,000 Yen (about $142). [Product Page]
