I am handicapped because I don’t know how to access a Guide Book. When i purchase3d the desktop I assumed I’d get a Guide Book but I did not get one.
Any help anyone ?

I have just purchased an Acer Aspire Desktop X1700 but cannot get any sound.
Can someone please say whether I have to purchase loud speaker to get sound, and if so where should they be plugged in?
Any help on this matter would be very much appreciated.
alruight eddie i see ur problem and i can feel ur pain i had this before its really annoying. Well anyways dont DONT DONT DONT DONT DONT go out and buy a another speaker. What u do is see if u have a driver installed. It should already have one but just download it again. How u do this is go to my computer than at the side at the bottom click device manager then ull see ur sound right click update driver. After restart PC. If that doesen’t work than try this u know ur speakers there three ports at the back to plug them into try all three dont be lazy it will work. Oh yah and last method would be to finally open up ur pc and see if ur sound card is plugged in properly.
PS: i love Acer Aspirex1700 its awsome
