
Acer has recently launched the first computer based on NVIDIA’s ION platform. Dubbed as the AspireRevo, the computer adopts Intel Atom CPU N230 CPU with an entry-level NVIDIA GPU that is 10X faster than previous integrated solutions provided by Intel. Other features include up to 4GB pg DDR2–800 (dual channel), up to 250GB of storage, 4:1 Flash card reader, VGA out, HDMI, 4x USB 2.0, and eSata. Measuring 180mm x 1870mm x 30mm, the device also supports 1080p videos, output 7.1 surround sound audio and is compatible with DX 10 graphics. [Engadget]
