
Acer will launch its new Ferrari series notebooks, the Ferrari 1000 and 5000, at the end of July. Both models will each be priced at 2,000 Euros or about USD 2,543. They are powered by AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology and has the new 64-bit architecture. Ferrari 5000 features a 15.4 Inch TFT LCD which comes with a handy Acer VoIP Bluetooth phone and the Acer Video Conference solutions which includes the Acer OrbiCam, a 1.3MP webcam. It also comes with a complete WLAN, WPAN with built-in Bluetooth 2.0 module, LAN connection and high storage capacity up to 160GB HDD. Ferrari 1000 is compatible with the gamers since it is powered by ATI Radeon XPress 1150 chipset with 512MB HyperMemory which allows the 12.1 Inch Acer CrystalBrite widescreen to display high resolution visuals.
