ADATA’s New Ultra-Rugged USB 3.0 External Hard Drive For Mac Users

by Isaiah on April 1, 2015

ADATA hits back by announcing their new ultra-rugged USB 3.0 external hard drive ‘HD710A’ for Mac users. Compliant with the MIL-STD-810G 516.6 military-grade shock-resistant test and IP68 test, this waterproof, dustproof and shockproof hard drive is armed with a strong three-layer structure case containing elastic silicon material (to provide great shock absorption from all angles), a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connection interface and a wrap-around USB cable design (the USB cable tucks into a wrap-around exterior slot in the drive casing).

Backed by a 3-year warranty, the ADATA HD710A comes in two different storage capacities including 1TB and 2TB. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Product Page]
