Priced at only $100 (yes $100, we quadruple checked already), the DXG-125V HD waterproof camcorder records video in 720p using H.264 compression. Available this July in red, olive green and camouflage, this rugged camcorder from DXG comes with a lanyard with a built-in compass, a lithium-ion rechargeable battery and best of all, a waterproof and weatherproof body so you can take it skiing and/or kayaking with you.
If you want something a little more feminine for your girl, then you could wait until August this year, because DXG will release the Luxe version which is designed to look like a plush clutch purse (see below). This version will also come with a 3-inch flip LCD screen, so it’s definitely worth the extra $30.
