Here’s the latest 42-inch monitor from Albatron that sports multi-touch capabilities, the Optical Touch Monitor. This widescreen display makes use of optical touch technology and features optical sensors on the screen above left and right to detect the movement of fingers. The monitor itself provides a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 9 ms response time, 700 cd/m2 brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. It also offers several connectivity ports including D-Sub, DVI, HDMI, RS232C and USB. Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment. [it-review]
