
The Alpine PND-K3 GPS navigation system has been released. Priced at $550, the device boasts a 4.3 inch touchscreen display (480 x 272 resolution), 6 million POIs, 4GB of storage capacity, Text-to-speech function, sports MP3 and WMA files, and Bluetooth connectivity. What makes the Alpine PND-K3 special is that it uses three different inputs including the satellites, gyro technology to locate the vehicle’s direction and accelerometer technology to measure vehicle’s speed.
