Amazon Echo

“Good morning Alexa, please make me a cup of coffee.”

“Good morning sir, unfortunately in this version I am not equipped with pairs of limbs to execute your order. How else may I help you?”

Well, we’re not quite there yet, but the future is definitely drawing nigh and Amazon steps forward to lead the way for everyday home users. They have come up with Amazon Echo, a state-of-the-art home assistant equipped with a powerful wireless living room speaker.

With an array of 7 microphones, the Echo covers complete voice recognition that can listen from any corner of the room, even with music on. It has live access to the internet so it can fetch any information you like, and it’s always connected to the cloud so it learns and gets smarter as it goes.

Amazon Echo is designed around your voice. It’s always on—just ask for information, music, news, weather, and more. Echo begins working as soon as it hears you say the wake word, “Alexa.” It’s also an expertly tuned speaker that can fill any room with immersive sound.

There’s an invite-only waiting list if you want to grab one, and if you have Prime membership all it will cost you for a piece of the future is $99.
