AMD To Roll Out 3.4 GHz Phenom II X4

AMD is set to launch another powerful processor in the form of the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition. Claimed as the successor to its Phenom II X4 955 processor series, this new 45nm processor is clocked at 3.4 GHz – 200 MHz and features a 6MB of shared L3 cache, an integrated DDR2/DDR3 memory controller, a 4000 MHz HyperTransport and a TDP of 125W. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [TCMagazine]
