by Isaiah on July 21, 2015

Apacer is pleased to announce their newest line of USB 3.0 flash drives, the AH553. Coming in four different storage capacities including 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, these plug and play USB flash drives feature a cold and rigid metal casing made with high strength aluminum and a USB 3.0 connection interface.

Utilizing the MLC NAND Flash memory chips, these ultra-fast USB flash drives can deliver read and write speeds of up to 400MB/s and 300MB/s respectively and became one of the industry’s fastest commercial products (close to that of a solid-state drive).

Furthermore, the AH553 USB flash drives support the newest Windows 8.1 and are downwards compatible to Windows XP, Mac OS 10.4.x and above and Linux 2.6.x and above. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet. [Product Page]
