Apple has officially announced that the Wi-Fi version of the iPad will be released in the US on April 3rd, 2010. Sadly, the Wi-Fi + 3G model still has no specific US release date other than “late April”. If you are interested, you can pre-order both models from Apple’s online store from March 12, 2010, but only the Wi-Fi model can be reserved and picked up in store. The Wi-Fi model will retail at a suggested price of $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for the 32GB and $699 for the 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available at a suggested retail price of $629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 32GB and $829 for the 64GB. Watch the first iPad commercial video after the jump.
