ASUS’ New 27-Inch WQHD Gaming Monitor Utilizing AMD FreeSync Technology

ASUS has just dropped their newest WQHD gaming monitor ‘MG278Q’ for the mass market. Utilizing AMD FreeSync technology to eliminate tearing, stuttering and input lag, this new 27-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and provides 144Hz refresh rate for ultra-smooth action, 100 million:1 contrast ratio (ASCR), 350 cd/m2 brightness, 1ms (GTG) response time and 170/160 degree viewing angles.

Furthermore, the monitor has Ultra-Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies to protect users’ eyes during marathon gaming sessions.
