It seems that ASUS will launch its 6-inch DR-570 OLED e-book reader and the 9-inch DR-950 in the US and Europe markets as soon as the second quarter of 2010 to test market response. These e-book readers feature SiPix’s e-paper technology and Samsung Electronics’ processors. The 9-inch model boasts a 1,024 x 769 pixels resolution and supports Wi-Fi, HSDPA, WiMAX, and USB. The gadget is compatible with PDF, TXT, MP3, ePub, HTML, JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP formats. [Digitimes]
