ASUS has recently introduced a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 5.0 smartphone ‘Zenfone Max’ to its range. Measuring only 5.2mm thick, this mid-range smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, an Adreno 306 GPU, a 2GB RAM, an 8GB/16GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB) and dual SIM card slots.

For taking pictures and videos, the handset packs a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens, and a 13MP rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, real tone flash and laser autofocus. Powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery, the Zenfone Max provides 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS for connectivity, and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Zen UI 2.0.

The ASUS Zenfone Max will go on sale in India sometime in October for unannounced price yet. [FoneArena]
