ASUS has recently introduced a new 4G LTE-enabled Android 6.0 tablet ‘ZenPad 3 8.0 (Z581KL)’ to its range. Featuring a 7.57mm slim brushed metallic frame and leather-like finish on the back, this mid-range tablet sports a 7.9-inch 2048 x 1536 IPS display, a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 (4×1.4GHz ARM A53 + 2×1.8GHz ARM A72) 64-bit processor, an Adreno 510 GPU, a 2GB/4GB DDR3 RAM and a 16GB/32GB of expandable internal storage (up to 128GB).
Equipped with dual-front facing stereo speakers (w/ DTS-HD audio & 7.1-channel virtual surround), the tablet has a 2MP front-facing camera, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a USB Type-C port and a 4680mAh battery.
Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with ZenUI 3.0 on top, the ZenPad 3 8.0 (Z581KL) provides 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS for connectivity. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet. [Product Page]
