AU Optronics Corp will introduce their latest 65-inch eco-friendly LED panel with QFHD high resolution at FPD International 2009 in Yokohama Japan. Measuring at only 7.9mm, the LED panel adopts the latest pre-mixed “LED Light Cell” with 256 zones for local dimming and produces a 2,000,000:1 of contrast ratio. In addition, this eco-friendly LED panel consumes 50% less power on average. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing so far. [Press Release]
