AUO will be releasing ultra-slim 42” TFT LCDs with LED technology. It comes with white LEDs to reduce power consumption as well as simplifying the driving circuit, birghtness of 450 units and a contrast ratio of 200,000 to 1. No word on availability or the price, but I’m guessing it wont be very cheap. [FarEast]
