LG has just released in the UK a 38-inch M3800S-BN and 29-inch M2900S-BN stretch display monitor.They feature resolutions like 1,366 x 398 and 1,366 x 480, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 9-millisecond response time and a VGA input. Both can be displayed horizontally or vertically. No word on prices, but chances are they’ll be pretty high. [Pocket-lint]
Iomega will be releasing a new 1TB Super eGo external hard drive. It is basically a single one-terabyte HDD featuring a USB 2.0 port and a one-year warranty. The hard drive also comes in a 2TB edition in ruby red, midnight blue or jet black for $269.95.

Sanyo has finally made two projectors for the States known as the PLC-XC55 (3,100 lumens) and the PLC-XC50 (2,600 lumens). They both feature a 1,024 x 768 resolution and a Maintenance Filter (AMF) system, along with a built-in 7-watt speaker, DVI / VGA / component / S-Video / composite sockets and audio in / out jacks. Takumi Yoshida thought of social networking when he made a concept called the Geotagger. This device allows real-time tagging of locations on an iPod-like device instead of a GPS form factor. The Geotagger is described as “physical social bookmarking on-the-go”.
