Thanko, a Japanese company, will release the iBlueTube this August. It is a docking station for iPods which uses 2 Philips “6922″ vacuum tubes with a frequency of 20Hz – 30kHz – 80db which delivers an output of 12W x 2 ch. This iPod dock also features AV outputs for viewing the iPod’s videos on TVs. The included speakers deliver 12 watts of power. The iBlueTube will be available Japan this August for around $566. The unit measures 295 mm x 130 mm x 68 mm and weighs 650 grams.

JVC will be released the KV-DV50 very soon. It is an in-car DVD player which is also able to play discs filled with Divx videos, MP3s and WMAs. The KV-DV50 will also playback all the common burnable DVD formats such as DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW. This DVD player will be released in Japan this September for around $250.
