Here’s an awesome idea: a digital camera that spins 360 degrees to take a perfect panoramic shot. It’s too good to be truth though because this [tag]digital camera[/tag] is merely a concept.

Here’s everything you wanted to know about the iPhone, but in a ‘hard’ copy. The iPhone Book is available at Amazon for $16.49.

Here’s a cool wall [tag]clock[/tag] that will trip you out with the simultaneous display of different fonts.
The Font Clock is a 21st century take on the British 24 hour clock design icon. Twelve different fonts are printed within the mechanism of the clock providing a random, mixed display of graphic language within a single time piece. Font clock is offered in three sizes.
The Font Clocks sell for £195/~$400 for the small version, £550/~$1,100 for the medium version, and £810.00/~$1600 for the large version.

If you’re tired of the drudgery of dealing with normal flash drives on a daily basis, you might want to look into a cute creature [tag]flash drive[/tag] to keep you company. Mimico made these Pokemon-like Mimobot Series 2 Flash Drives with a variety of intricate back-stories for each character. You would think only the Japanese would go through the trouble, but Mimoco is a toy company based out of Boston. Either way, the drives come in 512MB, 1GB, 2GB or 4GB capacity, and range in price from $39.95 to $109.95.

This extra-terrestrial looking contraption isn’t a member of the Decepticons, it’s the Shanling MC-30 iPod Dock. It’s more than meet’s the eye though because it’s not just an iPod docking station but also a Hi-Fi CD player, an AM/FM tuner, and a tube power amplifier which allows for 3 watts of power per channel. Now here’s the rub, it costs a whopping $1000 in American Currency. For a price like that, it should give instant sex appeal to a geek like you, but alas it doesn’t have extra-terrestrial powers. The price seems pretty steep, but can you put a price on cool? I think not.

According to Reuters, Capcom’s CFO Kazuhiko Abe predicted a price cut for the PS3 just in time for the holidays. The Playstation 3 has been faltering in sales compared to the Nintendo Wii and XBox 360, due to its larger than life price. Considering that Sony is already losing money on each unit sold, this price cut brings Sony’s profit margin on the PS3 even deeper in the red. The good news is that some awesome games are scheduled to release on the Playstation 3 soon, but will that be enough to put Sony on the forefront again? Either way, we’re no fan of “expensive” and it needs a price cut anyway. This is awesome news for consumers who don’t give a crap about the XBox 360 and can’t find a Wii to save their life.

Belkin just released this armband for the iPhone which helps you conserve pocket-space. Looks stylish enough to wear in public (even when you’re not working out), but it could easily go the way of the fanny pack, utilized only by Asian & European tourists. It’s on sale on the Belkin Website for $30.

Michael Bay didn’t miss the mark, when he made Transformers. Though Bay used excessive artistic license to fatten his pocketbook through sponsorship (the movie was one big shameless GM Commercial), he did a fairly good job at updating the 80′s cartoon into something more relevant to today’s world. Oh, I must say that certain plot points were either excessive and/or nonsensical, and some performances came across as corny. All in all though, Transformers was an overwhelmingly fun movie.
Optimus Prime was pretty true to character, Megatron wasn’t a gun, and Bumblebee wasn’t a VW Beetle (which was traded in by Bay for a slick Shelby Camaro). And, none of the Decepticons had much character development beyond being mere misanthropic killing machines. However, for what it was, for the effects, for the pure fun of it… Transformers was freakin’ sweet!
