BenQ will be releasing a new UMPC called the mid. The mid features an Intel Atom processor (the base 800MHz model), 512MB of RAM, a 4GB SSD hard drive, HSPDA support along with wifi and bluetooth. The UMPC will also feature a “G-Senser” for “direct touch and free movement to surf on internet,” voice activation, and optional GPS. At the moment, BenQ has not yet revealed the price or release date of the mid. Check back for an update. [Engadget via Laptop Blog]
