BenQ Releases Trio Writer BW1000

BenQ announces the next generation optical writer, the BenQ BW1000 trio writer. The name “trio” means that this optical writer supports multiple media formats such as red laser disc, infra-red laser and the blue laser disc “Blu-Ray”. Moreover, this BenQ BW1000 allows several advantages with Blu-Ray technology which allows playback and recording of Blu-Ray discs with a storage capacity up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and a 50GB on a double-layer disc. The trio writer uses a Precision Tilt Control System (PTCS), an extra level of protection against vibration, noisy signals and irregularities in the physical media, in order to avoid you from playback hiccups and failed burns.
