Book-sensitive Reading Lamp

Designed by French designers Jun Yasumoto, Alban Le Henry, Olivier Pigasse and Vincent Vandenbrouck, the Book-sensitive Reading Lamp shuts off when you put a book on it, and then turns on again when you remove the book to read it. Unfortunately, the lamp is only a concept at this time. I hope it will make its way to the real world soon.

Eh…one of those cool concepts that needs to be revised a bit. What if you want to take the book somewhere to another room? Do you have to unplug the light if you don’t want it on?
